B727 Update 1.0.4

We've been hard at work again, making improvements to many parts of the 727. The result is an update that not only fixes bugs but also brings many enhancements.

Cockpit 3D Enhancements
In the cockpit, there are some new features like updated decals, a new gear lever, a cargo fire panel, and the copilot tiller has been removed.

Exterior Metal Effect
It was noticed, especially with third-party liveries, that the metal channel wasn’t set up correctly, preventing fully metallic liveries. We’ve fixed this now. Third-party liveries that use modified COMP maps might need to be adjusted to achieve the correct metallic effect.

New Flight Model
We worked hard on the flight model. The aircraft is now easier to take off, and the roll and yaw behavior has been improved. According to our real-world test pilot, we're now very close to reality – as much as is possible in a simulator.

Parking Brake
The parking brake has been updated to match the real aircraft. From now on, you need to press the brakes to activate it, or the lever will just drop down. To release the parking brake, you’ll need to give the pedals a firm press.

Startup EGT
The EGT simulation during engine startup has been significantly improved. The peak temperature now depends on the outside temperature and the density altitude. At high-altitude airports, the engine can get pretty hot during startup.

By the way, we’re about to start internal testing of the GNS-XLS flight management system. So, you probably won’t have to wait much longer.
