Allgäu Airport near the bavarian city Memmingen is special in several ways. First it’s the highest commercial airport in Germany. Second it is a mix of civil and military airport. And finally there are a number of interesting destinations like Sofia, Timisoara, Skopje, Pristina, Kiew and the usual holiday destinations like Mallorca, Alicante, Faro and more. The 2600m runway can handle all major aircraft types but the apron is limited in terms of space. Before Covid 19 the airport handled up to 1.7 million passengers per year, mostly brought by Tuifly, Ryanair and Wizz Air.
The scenery has been recreated based on a high number of reference pictures of the real airport. High resolution textures, the use of modern 3D technologies and various special effects result in an immersive experience.
Please note: This scenery has been created for a commercial customer and is not available for public.
