The airfield between Heide and Büsum has now been in operation for more than 50 years. In the Dithmarscher Land, as the region in northern Germany is called, you are at the ideal starting point for exploring the Wadden Sea or for a little island hopping on the North or East Frisian Islands. Of course, you can also simulate the direct connection of OFD to Helgoland according to the flight schedule. It offers up to four connections per day.
The airfield has a fired runway (asphalt: 720 x 23 meters – landing directions: 11/29) for aircraft up to 5.7t gross weight. If you don’t want to relax on the comfortable terrace, you should enjoy the landscape. The airfield circuit leads directly to the sea.
The scenery was recreated based on hundrets of photos taken by our team. All objects are using a specific texturing workflow that result in an incredible detail but still a very low package size.
The scenery is available at Aerosoft for public.
