If you have been flying our Tecnam P2012 Traveller since the MSFS 2020 days, you already know this aircraft: a practical twin for short runways, changing cabins, and flights that feel like a simulation rather than an arcade hop.
Version 2 is the next evolution of this addon. Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 is not the same platform underneath, and a native edition lets us align the P2012 with the new flight model, materials, and career workflows instead of stretching the MSFS 2020 product forward. The theme is straightforward: same aircraft you care about, rebuilt on the foundation it deserves for the years ahead.
Why we rebuilt instead of patching
Some of the most important work will never fit into a single screenshot. We spent time on system behaviour, state persistence between sessions, new sounds and a native walkaround flow. Career mode readiness is part of that picture.
On the surface, you will see a reworked exterior, MSFS 2024 lighting and materials, and a new VIP interior developed from original manufacturer data - a layout that was not part of the first edition. Underneath, the familiar system remains: Working Title G1000 NXi with our extensions, FADEC and revised power management (the selftest is actually fun now!), and a TKS ice protection system we are much happier with in daily use. Sound and textures were renewed throughout; the goal was an aircraft that feels coherent from cold and dark to shutdown, not a checklist of isolated upgrades.

The P2012 was always about versatility - passenger, combi, cargo, medevac, skydive, special mission, and now VIP. Each layout changes how you prepare the flight and how the cabin behaves on the ground.

If you already own the MSFS 2020 edition
We know many of you invested in the Traveller on PC or Xbox when that was the simulator you flew every week. For MSFS 2024 on PC, the V2 is a separate native product at €29.95 (tax dependent), with an upgrade price of €9.95 (tax dependent) for owners of the MSFS 2020 Traveller. That is our way of honouring the time you already spent with the aircraft while being honest that the MSFS 2024 build is new development, not a free port.
Availability
It is now on sale through Aerosoft while our usual partner channels will receive it a few days later. Documentation, difference training, and FAQs are in the online manual. Marketplace / Xbox release will follow in the next couple of weeks depending on their availability.
We hope the V2 feels like the natural next chapter for everyone who already knows the Traveller and a solid entry point for anyone meeting it first on MSFS 2024.
